PJR Photography and Studio, LLC is pleased to announce they will be open March 13, 2015 from 4 PM us p.m. to the children of the after school program the “DROP”. We will be teaching a lighting class and allowing the kids to photograph each other using PJR’s cameras and studio lighting equipment. We are pleased to have this opportunity to contribute to the children of the Northgate School District and appreciate the Shepherd’s door if efforts.

The “Drop” is a faith based after school program of the Shepherd’s door located in Bellevue. The drop is an acronym for Direction, Redemption, Occupation, and Purpose and is open to teens in the Northgate School District. Although this teen center provides a place for the kids to play games and hangout, the drop’s primary objective is to give kids a sense of self-worth and instill wholesome values through their various performing and visual art programs. The students can try out new things or improve their own artistic skills at the center. Fridays represent a special day for the kids at the center when they are provided with field trips, game night, or movie night. The true benefit to the children is a sense of community and peer support while engaging in an artistic activity.
